  1. cute...did you cut the collar off? Need a close up.
    Ha
printed the one of you with the blue work shirt, also cute.
On that one did you sew the placket on or is it buttoned on?
Enjoyed Ellie's book...she is so beautiful. Always fun to see the kids, and their "kids".
Did you "alter" the shirt you were wearing on "The Best Day of My Life"? Nice pic of all you girls!
I haven't seen Amy since last Aug. We plan on leaving for Tulsa this weekend, IF SG can get 2 days off next week. We'll drive down one weekend and back the next....AM SO excited! Love you, Fran

  2. Sorry for such a long delay in answering. I turned the collar in on the brown shirt, sewed it, and then trimmed it off. I cut the sleeves off and bunched, sort of pleated the sholders and sewed it down. It looked messy so I just sewed wildly back and forth so I think others will feel that I wanted it that way. It does not show that much anyway. Basically, I just keep trying it on and pin and sew. I did find that less is better. I ended picking some stuff off. On the shirt that I used parts of Dad's shirt, I sewed the placket on so it lined up with the buttons. When I button it, the button goes through two fabrics. The shirt I had on in the photos of Ellie's Best Day of her Life, Lori gave to me. We were shopping at Anthropology and I fell in love with it. When she knew I liked it, she bought it for me! I do not sew anything that would be "work!" Hope you had a great time in TX! Love you too!
